On a recent shopping expedition, Han and I visited the fabulous Sub Couture boutique, one of the oldest indies in Notting Hill. Here we discovered some amazing brands to add to our upcoming curated collection of beautiful clothes for tall women. We both fell in love with the same Patrizia Pepe fitted jacket with beautiful long glove arms. As we walked out of the store, bags in hand, we remembered the days when, as children, Mum used to dress us in identical outfits.
I think it suited her aesthetic eye to have a troupe of matching children, as well as providing endless opportunities for perfectly coordinated family photos, something we all learnt to grin and bare. But, the reality of a self-conscious twelve-year old having to wear the same as her four-year old sister, was pretty mortifying. Matching navy and white striped sailor dresses were the peak of this trend – my face says it all!
Now we love the same clothes, but enjoy the freedom to style things a bit differently to suit our personalities, ages and lifestyles.

I love blazers! Great post 🙂
Thank you so much! 🙂
Such a fun post! Loved the childhood photos and the different ways you styled the blazer. I REALLY need to find a store that stocks Frame denim near me as this is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve seen them on a tall blogger and they look fab!
Thank you so much, we are so happy you enjoyed it!! Frame Denim easier to find online and not all styles come up long, only really the Forever Karlie (collaboration with Karlie Kloss who’s super tall!!) so best to search for that – I think Net a Porter and Shopbop would be your best bets. We are going to launch a curated fashion site for tall women in the not too distant future – everything will have been tried and tested by Zoe and I for leg length, sleeve length, body length etc! Watch this space 🙂 x
